Ram 1500 REV 2024 Price In USA , Features And Specs

Ram Trucks has surprised everyone by introducing the 1500 REV, its production electric pickup, in a Super Bowl commercial following the world debut of the 1500 Revolution BEV Concept at CES 2023 last month.

The Ram 1500 REV, which appears in the brand’s sarcastic 60-second television Big Game spot titled “Premature Electrification” (pictured above), does not quite resemble the production version of the 1500 Revolution BEV Concept.

It looks more like an electrified version of the current Ram 1500 pickup truck, which is a good thing considering Ford’s success with the F-150 Lightning. The ICE-powered Ram 1500 appears to share some of the side body panels with the Ram 1500 REV, but the unique details on the front and rear ends are unique.

These include the L-shaped taillights, muscular-looking bumpers and hood, illuminated Ram lettering on the faux grille, and headlights with a specific LED signature that are reminiscent of the 1500 Revolution BEV study.

The interior, particularly the dashboard, is shown in the advertisement, making a clear connection to the current gas-powered Ram 1500 truck. Although the battery-powered truck also features a screen for the front passenger, a feature that has recently been seen in upscale Jeeps, the center console and the large UConnect touchscreen appear to be very similar.

Sadly, Ram did not provide any information regarding the 1500 REV’s specifications; It is unknown whether it is based on the STLA Frame platform, which is focused on BEVs. The electric pickup, according to the company, will begin production in 2024 and be available at dealerships by the end of the year. This probably means that it will come out for the model year 2025.
