At the Ascari race track in Spain, the Polestar 2 BST 270 Edition has been unleashed . The following promotional video was made after Joakim Rydholm, Chief Test Engineer for Polestar, took it for a spin around the track.

Rydholm is eager to demonstrate the car’s handling, acceleration, cornering, and braking abilities, which are evidently a significant source of brand pride.

The showcase Polestar 2 “Beast” model will be produced in limited quantities by Polestar, and the vehicle will be sold in North America, Europe, and China. Only 47 of these unique automobiles—hence the name—will be produced by Polestar, and only 270 of them will be sold to American customers.

The brand new Polestar 2 BST Edition 270 will have standard Brembo brakes with four pistons and run on 245/35R21 Pirelli P Zero tires. The 2 BST Edition 270 has special Ohlins 2-way adjustable dampers, a strut bar under the hood, and 20% stiffer springs than the regular Polestar 2.

With a battery capacity of 78 kWh, the Polestar 2 BST Edition 270 can produce 350 kW of power and 680 Nm of torque. The exterior will be Thunder or Snow, and the interior will be charcoal WeaveTech. A full-body Battleship Grey satin wrap and a matte black body stripe are both available as options. The side mirrors have a glossy black finish, and Polestar’s “Swedish gold” is used to decorate some of the details.

Polestar hasn’t said how much it will cost, but interested buyers can apply for a pre-order, and the few Polestar chooses will go through a customized sales process.
