The 2024 MG 5 comes in two trims, both with a 1.5-liter petrol engine. The MG 5 Essence has a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. And produces 84 kW (112 hp) at 6000 rpm and 150 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. The MG 5 Vibe has a 1.5L naturally-aspirated engine with a CVT, delivering 84 kW (112 hp) and 150 Nm of torque.
