Latest Update: 2024 McLaren 750S Spider released in 2023, with a price tag of $324,000.

According to a report from Automotive News, McLaren is expected to release 2024 750S, replacing 720s version.

The AN report claims that the 750S Spider will share the same platform and powertrain as its predecessor, but the new model will have numerous enhancements. It cites an anonymous source with inside information. Sharper handling For instance, the 750S will continue to use the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8, but the engine is said to have undergone revisions that add 30 horsepower, bringing its output up to 740 hp.

At our 2018 Lightning Lap event, we saw firsthand how great the 720S was already as a track car. Still, it wasn’t nearly as intense as the McLaren 765LT we lapped in that regard. The 750S is anticipated to perform somewhere in the middle of those two models, indicating that it will have better handling than the 720S but will not be as brutish as the 765LT.

Since the 720S coupe cost $310,500 in 2023, it is safe to assume that the 750S coupe will cost at least $340,000. Unlike previous McLaren launches, the upcoming 750S is rumored to debut with both a coupe and a spider (read: body types (convertible). The official reveal is expected later this month, and production is expected to begin in September.
