It would be hard to imagine someone fitting a body kit to a Ferrari F40 in 2023 due to the model’s rarity and collectability. On the other hand, Liberty Walk, a Japanese tuning company, will showcase just such a creation on January 13 at the Tokyo Auto Salon. The body unit comprises of another front cowl, cowl channel, light cover, splitter side skirts, back wing, diffuser, and more extensive bumpers for the F40. The Ferrari hood now has a large opening and a single NACA duct in the middle, as opposed to the two on the original design. The corners have canards. The headlights that popped up are gone.

The F40’s already-large wing gets a new feature on its top. The original, oval-shaped exhaust outlet is flanked by the Liberty Walk’s diffuser.

This body kit is already available on Liberty Walk’s website. At this point, the price is listed as “Ask” on the page. The powertrain and interior of the car that will be on display at Tokyo Auto Salon are unknown.

Additionally, Liberty Walk lowers the ride height to the point where the wheels completely fill the wells and the car is barely scraping the ground. Despite its striking appearance, the vehicle’s lack of ground clearance makes driving on the road appear difficult.
