The Acura TLX Type S PMC Edition has always had a close relationship with the NSX supercar, but now that relationship has taken a darker turn with the addition of a new exterior paint option called Gotham Gray. This matte finish, borrowed from the NSX, gives the TLX a sinister look, according to Acura. Only 50 units of this model will be produced, so it will be a rare sight on the road.

The TLX Type S PMC Edition Gotham Gray is not just about the unique paint job. It comes with black trims such as door handles, side sills, a lip spoiler, a front chin spoiler, a rear diffuser, and exhaust tips, which adds to its menacing appearance. Additionally, the vehicle features special 20-inch Y-spoke wheels inspired by the NSX, which are also blacked out.

The interior of this TLX is equally special, with carbon fiber trim panels and a sporty red/black leather finish. The greenhouse also has contrast stitching, which further highlights its unique design. Type S branding can be found on the floormats, and a special badge on the center console identifies the specific Gotham Gray production number out of the limited run of 50.

It is hand-assembled at Acura’s Performance Manufacturing Center in Ohio, the same location where the NSX is built. Other PMC Editions also come in NSX colors such as Long Beach Blue, Curva Red, and 130R White.

Under the hood, this TLX Type S PMC Edition is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine that delivers 355 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque, which is sent to all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain is the same as the one used in all TLX Type S models.
