The 2024 BAIC Beijing BJ30 is the second generation of this compact crossover. The BJ30 has a load-bearing body structure and is positioned as a light off-road vehicle, and it comes with both 2WD (two-wheel drive) and 4WD (four-wheel drive) versions.

The 2024 BAIC Beijing BJ30 offers two engines. The second-generation BJ30 is equipped with a 1.5-liter A156T2H turbocharged petrol engine from Beijing Automotive Powertrain. This engine delivers 138 kilowatts (approximately 185 horsepower) and is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) for smooth gear changes.
