Ford has a monster 6×6 pickup truck for you. The latest is the F-150 6×6 Super Truck, based on Hennessey’s Gen 3 Velociraptor. The Velociraptor is Hennessey’s line of tuned F-150 Raptors, and it’s now into its third generation. The second-generation version was the first to offer a 6×6 option, and now Hennessey has a follow-up. As a result, it features the familiar twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 under the hood, which has been tuned by Hennessey to spit out 558 hp and 672 lb-ft of torque.
For improved off-road ability, the truck has dual locking rear axles, a raised suspension, upgraded Fox dampers, extra LEDs, and massive 20-inch wheels shod with 37-inch off-road tires. It also features mean-looking bumpers, plus a protective bar up front. Hennessey says the suspension has been improved over the previous setup to ensure more power gets to the ground.

The Texan company might be best known for its top speed record-breaking supercars, but it builds plenty of six-wheeled trucks for customers as well. This new VelociRaptor is its take on the latest third-generation Ford F-150 Raptor, having previously given the old model the same treatment back in 201American tuner company Hennessey revealed the VelociRaptor 600 earlier this year as a performance-orientated F-150 pick-up and now it’s made a 6×6 version of it.
Hennessey is no stranger to adding some more wheels to popular trucks, with the VelociRaptor 6×6 sitting alongside the Dodge Ram-based Mammoth 6×6 and Chevrolet Silverado-based Goliath 6×6. Unsurprisingly, six-wheeled alternatives to the VelociRaptor 6×6 from elsewhere aren’t in plentiful supply, with Mercedes deciding against a follow-up to its 6×6 G 63.7.
This conversion does include an upgraded suspension (incl. upgraded Fox shocks), 20-inch wheels, custom front, and rear bumpers, a rollbar, and LED lights. And last but not least a 600 HP engine.
Cyan Racing also replaced the stock 1.8-liter turbo-4 with a modern 2.0-liter turbo-4 derived from a World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) race engine, producing 420 hp and 336 lb-ft of torque here. It’s housed in a remarkably clean-looking engine bay, with the turbo tucked underneath the exhaust manifold. That’s symbolic of the driving characteristics Cyan Racing aimed for, Bååth said, as the goal was to make the powertrain feel naturally aspirated.
The relatively compact engine also enables a 47/53 front/rear weight distribution and drives the rear wheels through a manual gearbox. The 5-speed manual from Australian firm Holinger was specifically chosen for its mechanical feel, Bååth said. It adds a pair of up-sized turbos, a re-mapped ECU, a high-flow stainless steel exhaust, and a new air-to-air intercooler. Hennessey’s six-wheeled monster isn’t merely a wild, one-off concept designed to turn heads on the auto show circuit. It’s heading to production, and pricing starts at $349,000 including the cost of the donor vehicle.
