Latest Update: 2025 Jeep Wrangler Magneto EV is likely to launch in late 2024.

Jeep enthusiasts can look forward to the Wrangler Magneto 3.0 and an intriguing retro-inspired Cherokee or Wagoneer model. The company has promised that both concept vehicles will be pushing the boundaries of electrification.

As the name suggests, the Wrangler Magneto 3.0 is the third electric iteration of the iconic off-roader, following the successful launch of the Magneto models at the last two Easter Safaris. The first version produced 285 horsepower and 273 pound-feet, while the 2.0 boasted a staggering 625 hp and 850 lb-ft of torque. Equipped with a six-speed manual transmission from a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, the vehicle’s drivetrain also features Jeep’s renowned Rock-Trac transfer case and solid Dana axles at both ends. Compared to a standard two-door Wrangler, the Magneto’s wheelbase is extended by 12 inches.

Jeep plans to develop a fully electric Wrangler and is using the Magneto models as a testing ground for this initiative.

The other new concept model teased by Jeep is shrouded in mystery. The front end of the vehicle is revealed in a close-up teaser photo, showcasing a multi-slot grille design with round headlights on the outer edges that bears a striking resemblance to the Cherokee and Wagoneer models from the 1960s and ’70s. The bumper, on the other hand, appears to be taken from the Wrangler. From what can be seen of the body, the vehicle is likely a two-door model and does not resemble the current Cherokee or Wagoneer models.

Jeep has already released teasers for five other vehicles that will be showcased at the Easter Safari, including a Wrangler or Gladiator that has been modified with Jeep Performance Parts accessories. There is also a Grand Wagoneer 4xe and a modified Rubicon.
