According to the most recent teaser for the Mazda CX-90, the vehicle will feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain that the manufacturer refers to as the E Skyactiv PHEV. The first electric vehicle offered by the brand in the United States is this one. The crossover’s tail is also visible in the image. January 2023 marks the model’s full debut.

With this setup, the crossover can reach a top speed of 124 miles per hour (200 kilometers per hour) in 5.8 seconds. The 17.8-kilowatt-hour battery gives 39 miles (63 kilometers) of reach in the WLTP consolidated cycle.

In some markets, the CX-60 is also available with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system and a 3.3-liter inline six. For Australia, it produces 331 lb-ft (450 Nm) and 280 horsepower (209 kW). The result could be different in different applications.

The Mazda CX-90 Is Powered by turbocharged 3.3-liter mill develops 340 horsepower (254 kilowatts) and 369 pound-feet (500 Newton-meters) of torque engine.
