Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a range of new options for its EQE SUV, expanding its electric lineup in the EU markets, with the initial launch in the Netherlands. The EQE SUV initially embarked on its electric journey with the EQE 350+, and now it introduces two additional variants: the EQE 300 and the AMG 53 4MATIC.

The original EQE SUV lineup featured the EQE 350+, equipped with a substantial 96 kWh battery and a robust 292 hp electric motor driving the rear axle. However, the lineup has now welcomed a new member, the EQE SUV 300. This newcomer boasts a slightly smaller 90.6 kWh battery paired with a 245 hp electric motor, generating 406 lb-ft of torque. Despite the reduction in power, the EQE SUV 300 promises an impressive range of up to 359 miles on a single charge and can accelerate to 62 mph in just 7.6 seconds. Prospective buyers can acquire the Business Edition of the EQE SUV 300, starting at approximately $89,600, with an additional Sport Edition variant available.

The EQE 350+, with its 292 hp and 96 kWh battery, remains in the lineup, accompanied by the new EQE 350 4MATIC, which drops the “+” sign from its name. Featuring the same 90.6 kWh battery, the EQE 350 4MATIC offers four-wheel drive for enhanced traction and stability. Priced at just over $95,400 in the Business Edition, it also comes with a Sport Edition variant, mirroring the options for the EQE SUV 300 and EQE 350+.

Adding excitement to the lineup is the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV 53 4MATIC, a powerhouse boasting a remarkable 625 hp, surpassing the already potent 43 4MATIC with its 476 hp. However, this enhanced performance comes at a premium, with the EQE SUV 53 4MATIC starting at just under $161,000, approximately $20,400 more than its 43 4MATIC counterpart.

In conjunction with these powertrain updates, Mercedes-Benz has revamped the trim levels of the lineup. The Business Line has been replaced by the Business Edition, while the AMG Lines have made way for the Sport Edition.
