Latest Update: 2024 MG Cyberster launched in July 2023, with a price tag of $41,000.

SAIC MG has recently released the first interior pictures of the Cyberster in China, which shows a slightly modified design compared to its concept and earlier pre-production prototypes. The all-electric roadster will be unveiled to the public for the first time in the UK on July 13th at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, ahead of its local launch in 2024.

One of the most significant changes in the production-spec interior is the conventional leather-wrapped steering wheel, which replaces the fancy yoke. However, the latter might be available as an option. The steering wheel also features an array of mounted buttons and two aluminum-style paddle shifters.

The digital instrument cluster in the production version is combined with an infotainment touchscreen on the inclined center console, with the gear selectors found below the display. The operation of the electrically-reclined soft top and a set of cup holders are positioned further down along with other buttons.

The cabin of the 4,535 mm (178.5 inches) long Cyberster is covered in red upholstery with a generous amount of leather and suede-like material on the seats. The audio speakers on the scissor doors are highlighted with aluminum-style trim.

While MG has not yet released the detailed specifications of the Cyberster, Chinese documents suggest that the vehicle will be available in two different models. The base-spec single-motor RWD model will produce 310 hp (231 kW / 314 PS), while the flagship dual-motor AWD will make 536 hp (400 kW / 544 PS). The battery options are said to include a 64 kWh and a 77 kWh unit, with a zero-emission range between 501-580 km (311-360 miles).
