Peugeot has updated its popular 508 sedan and wagon models with interior and exterior modifications. The lion badge and corporate grille have been redesigned, and the headlights have been slimmed down with matrix LED technology and a recognizable three-claw design. The taillights also feature the same design, and there are three new colors and three trim levels available.

Inside, the models feature an updated 10-inch infotainment system and redesigned gear selector, as well as driving modes and suspension settings that vary by engine. The models also come with a range of features such as parking high-definition cameras, road sign recognition, and a high-end sound system.

Engine options include a 130-horsepower three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline unit, a 218 horsepower four-cylinder engine for select regions, and a 130 horsepower turbodiesel engine. Two plug-in hybrid powertrains are also available with two-wheel drive and 150-180 horsepower, with the flagship PSE model featuring a gasoline engine with 200 horsepower, an 81 kW motor connected to the automatic transmission, and an 83 kW motor in the back for a total of 360 horsepower. All PHEV models come with a 12.4-kWh battery pack that can be charged with a standard or optional charger.
