A group of bright minds from the esteemed Skoda Academy are currently undertaking an exciting project. The project involves transforming the Enyaq iV EV into a multi-functional mini motorhome. The idea is to create a vehicle that can serve both as a cozy camping spot and a mobile office on the go. Although the final product is still under construction, the team has already shared their spectacular renderings of what the end product will look like.

As one can see from the renderings, the Skoda Enyaq iV has undergone quite a few significant changes. The exterior of the car now boasts of a unique extension that covers the roof and hatchback, giving it a more voluminous appearance. Although the exact dimensions of this extension are not shared by Skoda, it seems to add at least a foot to the vehicle’s height. Apart from this notable alteration, the model seems to maintain its original design.

However, the interior of the Enyaq iV has undergone some substantial modifications. The creative team has ingeniously created a raised bed on the driver’s side, while the adjacent space serves as a convenient table. At the back of the vehicle, three spacious drawers offer ample storage for all your essentials. The roof incorporates two more storage compartments, making optimal use of the available space.

Granted, the modified Enyaq iV may not provide an abundance of room, but it is designed for outdoor adventures and weekend getaways. Interestingly, this is not the first time Skoda has attempted to convert the Enyaq iV into a camper. The company’s UK branch had earlier created a one-off example that featured a pop-up tent on the roof, providing ample sleeping space for two individuals. Inside, the rear bench had an extendable bed that comfortably accommodated another pair of individuals. The slide-out section at the back had a gas cooktop and sink, making it perfect for preparing meals while enjoying the great outdoors.
