Latest Update: 2025 Skoda Kodiaq SUV is likely to launch in late 2024.

Freshly snapped images of a Skoda Kodiaq prototype have surfaced online, thanks to our eagle-eyed spy photographers. The vehicle was spotted undergoing cold-weather testing in the north, clad in camo-wrapping. These latest images provide a detailed look at the three-row SUV from all angles, with the number plate matching that of the previous sighting. A closer examination reveals that there have been no apparent changes to the prototype in the past month, but the better lighting and position allow us to see finer details, including the Kodiaq’s rearmost side windows at the D-pillar.

The Continental snow tires are hard to miss and appear to confirm that at least one trim level will feature 18-inch wheels. Looking to the back of the vehicle, we can see taillights that now appear to be production lenses. While there are no visible exhaust tips, it’s important to note that there are outlets tucked beneath the rear fascia, which dispel any notions of the vehicle being an EV.

Moving to the front, we observe that the grille of the Kodiaq appears a bit larger, flanked by thinner headlights. Upon closer inspection, we can see that the lower grille extends all the way to the vertical vents on the corners. The full size of the lower mesh is expected to match the width of the upper grille and then shrink in size as it snakes over to the gills.

Although the interior of the new Kodiaq has yet to be seen, a large center touchscreen mounted floating style is visible through the windshield. Our sources have confirmed that the new model will still use the existing Kodiaq’s MQB platform, but powertrain options remain unclear. However, hybrid and plug-in hybrid models are expected to be available.
