Subaru is celebrating 50 years of making vehicles with all-wheel drive with a special Forester that is only available in Japan. The XT-Edition is the first JDM model to be painted Geyser Blue, which was first introduced in North America. It features all-season tires and 18-inch wheels finished in a dark metallic finish, and it is based on the local Sport trim level.

Black accents on the roof rails, side mirror caps, and frame of the front grille of the 2023 Forester XT-Edition distinguish it visually. The fog lights and roof spoiler now have a darker appearance, and some of the bumpers have been darkened as well.
